A Tensegrity Sphere is a light, strong structure that holds itself together through two strengths, tension and compression. The same can be said for the human body. We can stand upright and walk around because our bones provide compression, and are held in place by muscles and tendons, which provide tension. These two strengths, compression in our bones and tension in our muscles and tendons, work together to make our bodies stable and strong.
